The Belcourt is an independent theater in Nashville, TN that is dear to my heart. I created and pitched a rebrand for the theater taking inspiration from a photo of The Belcourt's lobby from the 70's that depicted colorful, abstract paintings from local artists filling the space. Pairing the elegance of the original theater interior with the eclectic energy of independent film, I paired a color palette inspired by Wes Anderson films with a quirky logo illustrating a 35 mm film reel.
